Okay! Thanks!

So to start off, I live in MD.

Aaaaand I haven’t seen this bug around before, except in my chaotic room.

It’s a brownish-black color with an orange stripe down the middle. It’s about a 5 centimeters long and it looks kinda fuzzy. I’ve only seen a coulle crawling around but I need to know if they’re dangerous.

@TheGoldenLegend

Is it thin? Fat? Does it resemble a beetle, wasp, cockroach, ext? Does it have a distinct pattern?

Is it like a caterpillar? Sounds sort of like a wooly bear coloration wise and because it’s fuzzy. And I’m pretty sure they’re harmless good bois

It’s pretty fat and it kinda represents a pill beetle… except the brown and orange. He only pattern through the few I’ve seen around is the orange stripe around the middle, and they’re very tough. Very. I have to stab them through in order to kill them.

If they are thank godddddddd cuz they’re just so cuddly I can’t kill them it’s their room too ;u;

@TheGoldenLegend

Gtg right now, do you think you can get a pic of one?

I can’t find any! They’re so slippery! Like whenever I see one, I blink and it’s gone! They’re usually on my floor, though, if that helps. I’ve never seen one flying or on ,y walls.

No. They’re fatter, slightly longer and have a pill-shape to them.

Ugh it’s so hard to explain I’m sorry.

They’re a lot smaller than that. Like, 5 centimeters as I said.

But the shape and pattern is right.

I know what they are. Larder Beetles. Maybe. Not sure but okay that’s what I’m basing it on.

Any advice? Hahehehahe

Uhhh apparently those are considered pests. They aren’t directly harmful to humans (don’t bite) but they can contaminate food and stuff. This is all based on quick research.
