I clean the kitchen every day and I’m only now stopping to think why I actually do it..
I just hate that he's always trying to control what I do
I shouldn't be getting so pissed off over animal crossing, but like

Like, I like how it is. Sure it isn't all fancy like his, but I don't have the patience for terraforming and stuff
Maybe I want to have flowers literally everywhere
Maybe I don't care that they're overgrown onto the paths
I like it looking more natural and that's my preference
He thinks that things are more fun if you like, 100% them or whatever, but I don't care about that shit
I wanna have my safe place and not worry about completing everything or spending hours making it look how he thinks it should look
That's not fun for me
And with Mario kart, I started doing time trials because I wanted to go on one particular track without worrying about items or cpus, but ended up quitting quickly because I couldn't turn on assisted steering, which I can't play without
And he kept making fun of me for quitting and saying that if I wanted to be good at the game, I had to practice without the assisted steering
And I kept trying to explain to him that it's not fun for me and I don't want to do it
Like, these things don't seem like they should upset me as much as they do, but again, I'm a super casual player who's just trying to have fun and him being there takes away my fun and, most importantly, my safe space
