I'm kinda confused too, because I've never been 'rejected'? I only started being active a few months ago, and nobody ever treated me like shit because they hadn't seen me around. Any 'newbie hate' I've seen is just along the lines of how seniors talk about freshmen.

I mean I got hate for being an OG in the past but….it was nothing that made me feel horrid about myself.

Meh, so so. I'm still something of a newbie. Same with Nutella. It's really just the responsibility of the person to insert themselves. It's not elitism if it's just people only talking to their friends. And I'll admit I have more respect for the older folks. But that's just because they have already proved themselves while the newbies are wild cards.

I can agree with this statement, but this fact is the reason that many newbies end up just not interacting with the "older generation."
