I may be 18, but I still can't leave the house unless my parents let me. I can't make plans without running it past them first.
So many of my friends complain about the fact that I am not allowed to do thing that every other person my age can do, when actually i know some other people who have parents exactly like mine, but it is still so annoying.

I thought the volcano talk was about Rainier. Because there's an almost lore in western Washington about "When the mountain blows". But maybe that's a personal experience.
