yay, I finally finished the title track of the album.
There was a demo back in 2016 which I ended up scrapping… then I went back and re-recorded the song again. If you heard the two versions back to back the 2017 version is totally different from the 2016 version. Tonight I finished the track by keeping the original vocals from the 2017 version and just adding more. For example, in the hood/chorus, there was originally no vocal stacks. I recorded the same part one on top of the other and panned each track to the left and the right. It creates a very wide stereo field.
