Guy named Joseph takes his wife, Anne, to visit the mill- I think to get bread or smn. She's wearing a really wide hooped skirt and this is actually an important fact not a made-up detail. They look at those machineys that spin or smn- they're not working now I've never actually seen them on. I do know that they spin, I think to grind the stuff. Anne sees smn and turns to ask Joseph what it is. Hoop skirt flares and catches in machine. Anne is - well, there's two versions. In one the machine thing just keeps spinning and literally smooshes her that way, in the other she just gets flung. In both she dies.

When I was about 6 years old I had a dream shortly before Halloween. In the dream I was out trick-or-treating on Halloween night. I was in this overgrown woody area in my neighbourhood and was running away from a house a couple of blocks away from where I lived. I realised that I was running from a lady ghost when I saw her come flying toward me. I woke up in a cold sweat.
In December, I found out that the house that I had been running from in the dream belonged to an older woman. She lived alone and didn't have any family in the area. An old and friend of my friends mother's was delivering Christmas cookies and found blood on the porch. she called the police and they found her dead in the house. They estimated that she had been there since about October. I don't actually believe in ghosts, but it was very strange, and freaky.
