My brother, who's going into fourth grade, can do functions.

I can't even do that, and im taking precalculus.

Function aren't that hard once you catch on to them. My teacher taught us the "horizontal line" method of where if you do a horizontal line through your equation, and they intersect more than one time, then your equation is not a function. "One input should only produce one output." Input being x-value and output being the y-value. If there are multiple y's to one x, then it is not a function.
