i got ensemble.
i wasn't even an ensemble orphan. I dont get to song, or speak, or dance. i just walk.

also, the girl who wanted the part that i wanted is 10 (and the part is for a 12-13 year old) and she got to do a read-through with the same character twice, and i didn't get to at all, the only thing that i did was a little baby orphan.

Hey, being an extra is not all that bad! You can study what made leads lead, still be an active participant, and have tons of downtime for things that you need to get done (or just chilling). I was an extra in my last play, but it was still a blast. You can make this play a blast too! It's also waaaayyy less stressful.
You'll do better in future plays. You got this!

im actually super happy right now because this one girl who I admire (not romantically, just I want to be friends with her) came over to me and's like, "Oh my gosh, Annika, I've been waiting to ask you all week: How were auditions?" and i was just so happy that someone anticipated me :)
I told 2 people my part, and neither one knew what ensemble meant :P
