IKR? Like I'll be talking to my dad and he'll keep asking "Are you okay?" and apparently he doesn't quite know what "Yes I'm fine" means because he'll respond "Are you sure you're okay?" like jeez dad I don't have to smile 24/7
hello...just your fellow introvert
My family has realized that my neutral face isn't a smile, or even necessarily happy-looking. They just go with it.
Yah, my sister's resting face looks like she wants to murder.
Like Jeremy Renner?
Hello.
Question, why are people so hard to deal with?
Im an ambivert, but mostly on the introvert line.
as a kid i was way too different. I would cry everytime i had no one to sit next to on the bus.
I dont understand my 1st - 2nd grade self at all, man.
I am a fellow introvert. My parents made me stop reading during lunch to make me actually talk to people. They took away my book and said that I had to actually talk to people. Does this happen to anyone else?
Feel you.
Once my mom gave me a lecture about how i need to make more friends since the ones i currently have are jerks. I can understand why she'd say that, but she threw in a bit of mocking me even though shes an introvert herself.

Also, why does having only one or two close friends result in the teacher writing a note to your mom that you need to ‘branch out’?
Like Jeremy Renner?
Yes, like Jeremy Renner.
Ok, I and totally an introvert, but I do have a couple close friends and I have this problem that every time they ask to hang out I feel like I have to. Does anyone else get this? It is like if I don't say yes they may never ask me again (also I have a lot of anxiety, so that could be what that is)
Yes I get that too!
Yes! Thanks so much! Do you just go with it, or sometimes call it a day and ignore them anyway?
I always go with it, my friends mean well and I enjoy their company, even when I’m tired.

I get that too and i absolutely despise that feeling
like if i say no im gonna feel like the biggest disappointment on earth and im gonna feel like a horrible person
if i say yes im gonna feel equally terrible since socializing doesnt like me and i dont like it either.
yup, sometimes I just wanna fit in lol
I would eat all the cupcakes but then there wouldn't be enough for everyone
and I would bring all the boys to the yard but then all my milkshakes would be gone

Not the milkshakes! But if you do bring all the boys, make sure it's on a Saturday
maybe we could turn them into milkshakes
Turn the boys into milkshakes? No, no, no, this will not do. Now who will I crack open a cold one with?
But, wait, what about the confetti? 🎉
Not me.
I'll just sit in the farthest corner and listen to music and read at the same time. Make someone else do the confetti. ._. Well, uh, if you know, if-if you want to, if not that's- that's okay…
Sticks head back in book
I am pinning that to my want board
So my friend just asked me to hang out tomorrow and I'm not sure I want to because social interaction but she's a nice person and I don't want to tell her no? What should I do?
Just hang, dude. Find something fun that ya both like doing and you should be good.
(And if it's a craft, concentrating might give an excuse to not talk)
Thank you. I didn't actually hang out with her though.
