I remember a previous app/site about writing I was on (it got shut down so don’t ask about joining) there was a prom every year where people would go as themselves or their characters and ask others if they wanted to go out with them. Some people would just go solo and I think there was something called the ship shop where you fill out a form and eventually you’ll just get a date or a buddy to go with you. Or you could do what I did and joined a group of friends to go to the thread when the prom finally came.
Fun times.
But anyways, this is what I was reminded of.

Well last time this happened, we gathered the people who wanted to go into a group chat and then set up a day and a thread in the RP forum. People either decided to go as themselves or as a character, depending on which they preferred. Most of us decided to be the ones crashing the party so that happened (in a seprate thread I think?) and so yeah
