I escaped due to a doctor's appointment I also escaped the daily visit of the priests who come to check on the public school youth groups in each grade. They tend to use the same class the health class does

Zombie merfolk?
They could have really cool decaying fins, which would make them swim slower (much like on land zombies), maybe they would have a really bright color palette to make them easy to spot or have really good camouflage to sneak up on prey. They could also have an incredible sense of taste and/or smell to help them locate merfolk. Idk, just a thought
