I shoot up the last bit of the cold fading from my mind. I’m in a clearing of Twisted Pitch-black trees. I feel a presence at my back. I spin; Sword jumping to my hand. Motion at the corner of my eye and again I pivot to face the threat. Nothing the presence is at my back This time I strike. My blade passes harmlessly through the wraith. “Who Are you?” I ask. “I am known only as The Twisted Wanderer, for my actual name was forgotten by the ages, it was crafted by angels and shattered by stars. My name was feared by demons and healed many scars,” The Wraith said, “You and I are not quite so different, Son of Valor, For you were twisted as I was. You were twisted by pain and loss and an ancient evil. It was at the hand of this evil I became Mighty yet it was by a terrible price. The price of my greed was my Son and my daughter But you paid with your heart.” “How did you become this?” I ask. “I tried to handle the pain and loss alone and It tore a piece of my soul away thus leaving me a Living dead,” The Wraith answered.

Funnily enough, I think I first found this site back in 2016 because I looked up "online notebook" and this site was the first result (back when google didn't fill half the first result page with ads). I ended up forgetting what the site was called and have been trying to find it until I managed to somehow stumble upon it today, about 7 years later (according to my account).

My favorite writing website shut down so I needed a new place to create characters. I found this on google
