One of the main characters of my story suffers from amnesia. I often hear a lot of complaining about how poorly the amnesia card had been played, so I wanted to make his amnesia a bit more accurate to life. Can any of you guys possibly tell me what to do / give advice?

An amnesiac would most likely be confused at everything they forgot. They would be abir slow to catch up on stuff ( if you put to mind how their brain has been jardge.)
Confusion and questions can be the main key, but I don't exactly know if this is exactly true since I've never had amnesia…
It depends on what they forgot and how much.
