I'll admit it up front, I'm just looking for answers rn, because I've got a shit ton to catch up on. If I don't get all this done by 4 tomorrow, I won't pass.
I am in desperate need of someone who passed ninth grade math, or is at least decent at it. Kinda urgent.
Aight whaddyou need?
Uuuhhh polynomial shit? The quiz has a time limit of sixty minutes, think you can help?
I'm almost done with 9th grade, and I think I remember polynomials. I'm down to try and help.
Thank god. Give me a sec to pull up one of the questions.
1.
coefficient: A number that multiplies a variable.
Find a coefficient of x in –7x, and a coefficient of y in y.
Well… the coefficient in -7x should be -7, and the coefficient of y would be 1, cause, ya know, 1y. I think. Idk, I'm kinda dumb, so.
Aaaa, the fraction didnt go through for y. 9/4?
Oh. I must have forgotten all my knowledge of polynomials. I am deeply sorry.
It's fine, don't worry. Simplified, wouldn't that be 2 1/4?
E-yes.
Here's to guessing, in that case
Oof mood.

Math is one of 2 classes I'm not caught up on, sorry. But if you need help with English, world history, or science hit me up
I might take you up on world hist. I've gotten English and Science done
Oh thank you lmao but math is the subject i struggle with most… dont know why I was trying to help… but… eh, too late.
Okay, I've got one that's still polynomial, but also distributive?
I, um, (obviously) don't know polynomials anymore, but I used to be pretty good at distributive. Then again, it's the end of the year, and… eyikes, idk anymore.
dfhjskhsf any chance you could take a look just in case?
yeah, but I'm kind of useless atm, so I'm really sorry if I (undoubtedly) get it wrong
honestly? guessing and wrong answers are completely fine, i just feel on the verge of a mental breakdown
Fill in the blank. What number in the blank ( ) does change the subtraction to addition in the step 1?
How to Subtract Polynomials Horizontally
Steps (5x2 – 3x + 4) – (2x2 + 6x – 1)
- Use the distributive property to change the subtracted polynomial to an added polynomial. =(5x2 – 3x + 4)+( )(2x2 + 6x – 1)=(5x2 – 3x + 4) + (–2x2 – 6x + 1)
- Solve it like an addition problem. =(5x2 – 2x2) + (–3x – 6x) + (4 + 1)=3x2 – 9x +5
so, the exponents dont fucking show up, but if you see a number, x, and then another number, that second number is an exponent
Ooh, heck, this is not what I am accustomed to. I'm really sorry, I kind of actually SUCK at math. Ugh, I really wish I could help.
(But the number you're using would be negative, no? Idk, man, I'm totally lost. Imma say -3. But I am 100% guessing, so… eh?)
Nah, you're good. I've got another friend helping me out, too
((Lmao, that;s my backup right there))
(I'm so sorry I wasn't on earlier, I actually really enjoy math)
(I'm like 56% sure the answer to the second problem is -1… not sure if that's any help because your test is already over but…. yep)
(Upon further analysis and one trip through my math notebook it was definitely -1 sorry about that)
Nah, dude, you're good, and thank you.
I've got more, if anyone thinks they can help
Hmm what're ya struggling with?
