This weekend I'm going rappelling into a cave called Stephens Gap (it's worth a Google, trust me). There's no wall contact or anything, so the only thing keeping me from zipping to a quick, rocky demise is a rope, a harness, and a few pieces of metal. I'm really super worried about it, so yeah, that's a thing you know now.

Yeah lol, I'm fine. My hand slipped and the axe went flying behind me. The blade got super close to my leg but it didn't touch me.

Lol yeah nice pun. but like seriously are you okay?? I didn't have any incidents with axes but I have stepped on a nail before and nearly snapped my hand off with a car door but oh my gosh axes are much more dangerous

My family is crazy enough to have an axe in the city (At least I think we kept it), but I don't think anyone hurt themselves with it. However, my mom did cut herself with a scythe once or twice when we were gathering rabbit snacks.

Lol, sometimes I wonder. But yes, we do (or did, moving makes it impossible to keep track of things). I was absolutely terrified when my brother was allowed to start using it (and thankfully I never had to). It was super useful to cut down alfalfa and grass for our rabbits.
