What is trigonometry exactly? All it does is remind me of twigs that nom on trees. Is it related to log-arithms?
No. It's triangles. Calculating side lengths of triangles with Sin, Cos, and Tan. Which is actually Sine, Cosine, and Tangent. Sin is not pronounce "Sihn" it is pronounced "Sine". SohCahToa is a memorization trick because Sin=opposite/hypotenuse Cos=adjacent/hypotenuse and Tan=opposite/adjacent

How much do you think language affects our thinking? It came up in my french class the other day that people think in different languages not just the meaning of the word, and then what language deaf people would think in. I responded with whatever language they write in, but does the fact they they may not be able to perfectly pronounce words or something, does it affect their creativity and thought process?
