I feel like I've been talking about it way too much recently and I'm annoying myself. So here we are

I also have so much trouble attaching parts together. The only thing I can solidly make is an octopus. I may or may not have 15

yuusss^^^ thay always come out wonky for some reason…haven't tried making an octopus yet…so far i have jack skelington in the works…and thats it XD

My Pinterest is a bunch of "free crochet patterns!" And they look cute so I click and the website wants me to sign up and give them my credit card number
So the range of things I've made is rather limited

Same! didn't know you had to put in a credit card number tho. there's some pretty good youtube videos that are good too.

I tried to learn a star stitch yesterday (that might be what it's called? Not sure anymore) and oh boy that went bad. I've had to use some videos to figure out what parts of patterns mean, but it didn't actually occur to me to use the whole thing. That's smart

I was going to try to make a blanket, but I gave up after the first row of not understanding what I did wrong. Now I'm just making up my own pattern

Ah ok i see,is there a name for this pattern of yours?
Also side thing i hate about yarn in particular - why does it come apart so freaking much?! like at one point i've spit the yarn in half and now re doing the stitch is a pain!

I don't have a name for the pattern, but it's just a bunch of double and treble crochets (because that's pretty much all I know how to do). I've entitled the project "The Coping With Miriam's Notebook Death Blanket"
Ikr! Like, it splits and now I have to retry a billion times because it's so much harder

That sounds like a good name XD I have no clue what a double or triple crochet are :p, i just do what the pattern says and so far that increases and decreases.

It's not weird at all! mostly rage but once i get into a rhythm and finally figure out what i'm doing, mostly listen to music or just having something in the background to hear since I'm more focused on what I'm doing than other things. What about you?

Mostly watch Studio C or listen to audiobooks. Occasionally I watch other YouTube videos
It started as an outlet for my frustration and sadness, but now I do it way more. It might be starting to become a problem

So I'm doing sections in different colors, and I'm almost halfway through this section. When I started, the scane of yarn was pretty solid and I've almost hollowed it out wowie

yeah, or order it online, I don't know about where you live but most of the craft stores are close and walmard is all out of yarn.
