Tell me about your story, Salty.

@SaltyLasagna

It's not completely focused on LGBT, it's more about mental illness, but the main character being bisexual is a huge part of the plot, and him coming out is also pretty big. I've also got a gay character, a lesbian, and somebody who's aromantic (but not asexual)

Oooh it sounds compelling and good. I'd read it.

Going off of that, does anyone have advice on writing a character who is aro but not ace? Like, I want to show that just because they don't love someone romatically they also aren't just 'using them for sex'. This is especially hard since I'm asexual so like….sexual attraction who is that?

@SaltyLasagna

yeah, that part is going to be pretty tricky for me lol

I'm sad because no one's mentioned 'Symptoms of Being Human' by Jeff Garvin. It's about a gender fluid person trying to get through life and I really liked it.

"jess and chunk's road trip to infinity" It was alright, a little (read: a lot) cringey at times, but positive trans rep!

ah not really. the mothers get married and the sister has a girlfriend, but the main romance is straight
