hi! i really want to fill my bookshelves up with more lgbt books, so i'm always looking for new suggestions!

I've read Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda, Carry On, The Dangerous Art of Blending In, and probably more that I can't think of.

@Joneathan

I don't know many but I do know The Pants Project and The Iliad

@Oakiin

Any of the Magnus Chase books by Rick Riordan! Or any of his books at all tbh
They're really good with LGTBQ charas :)

Chaotic Good was a good book. It dealt with sexism in fandoms and had two cute romances (one f/m and one m/m) on the side. There’s a lot of swearing if that bothers you. I also read Girls Like Me, which is a good book told in poetry about an overweight girl struggling with the death of her father. Her best friends are a gay boy and a girl with cancer. The boy is pretty stereotypical though (obsessed with fashion, very dramatic).

I want to read Let’s Talk About Love, but I’m not sure if it’s a teen or adult book.

I'll Give You the Sun (I think by Jandy Nelson) is an amazing LGBT+ book that I highly recommend. It's funny yet absolutely stunning at parts, which makes it a fantastic read. If you're into art, it talks quite a bit about that.
Rating: 10/10

Lies My Girlfriend Told Me wasn't as good in my opinion, but I still really enjoyed it. I thought some parts of it were better than others, but you could say that about most books.
Rating: 7/10

Someone Else's Stars is a shorter book that's really emotional. Some parts will actually leave you upset. I think it's definitely worth a read, even if I personally didn't agree with the ending. Then again, maybe my disbelief was the intended reaction.
Rating: 9/10

Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli!!! it's very good, and she's also written The Upside of Unrequited, and Leah on The Offbeat (but I'm not sure if it's in stores, as I haven't seen it in my local B.A.M.).

I'm going to second Leah on the Offbeat. It came out at the end of April, but idk if that's the kind of thing that varies from country to country. It's out where I live at least.

Also, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is another really good one and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Saturdays With Hitchcock (I think that’s the name) is a really good book. The focus isn’t on LGBT things (its focused on filmmaking) , but the MC’s best friend is gay and he has a crush on another friend, who likes the MC.
Drama is really good, but it’s a graphic novel if you don’t like those.
