I’m also bi-ace and 15 (16 really soon). I’m fairly certain but I’m not against the sex talk. Just really intense sex talk makes me really uncomfortable because it makes me start to imagine it and ew

Yeah same

Yeah same

Though I feel I should add I do write smut

Apparently that’s something people stigmatize when you’re ace and it's like why? I really enjoy it because it helps me develop my writing style? idk i’m a weird ace i think

Sup SpiderGwen! What do demisexual and biromantic mean?

demisexual is where you can become sexually attracted to someone only with a really deep connection and biromantic is is like bisexual but with romantic felings instead of sexual..

did i get it right? aha

yeah, that's basically right.
thats why people say its the same as being straight: "you dont normally have sex with people you dont have a connection with"
its really different to being heterosexual: like im not gonna have one night stands, and id rather have a face-to-face connection with someone, rather than online (regarding partners and stuff).

not that i would go to bars anyway: ive already decided im not gonna drink alcohol

So would that mean you would not ever feel a sex drive while looking at a hot person?

i'm not too sure, im ace so i cant answer that aha

and no, definitely not
sure, i might think someone is cute or something, but im not gonna get butterflies in my stomach
besides: im still in high school. i dont really need anyone right now.
if it happens, it happens. if it doesnt, im not gonna chase after it

book

^^As a hetro myself I don’t think that’s a hetro thing. I personally feel a lot of disgust at sex with someone you don’t have a deep emotional connection with.

There’s a lot of people who say my sexuality doesn’t exist, so there’s that.

But Idk if either of those constituted sex drive. But I’m a male while you are female so Idk.

Who says that though? Because… people want sex.

im not saying your opinion is wrong (if thats what you tried to say amidst that bad sentence)
im just saying that youre the exact type of person im talking about, saying my sexuality is false and stuff like that

book

Not wrong on the sentence tho.
But I wasn’t saying that? Just asking questions.
(Looked back to see what you were talking about.)
Yeah. Not saying you’re wrong. Just looking for clarity.

book

Whoops. I didn’t read the ‘my’. I read the sentence without it.

Hey! I identify as demi-bi as well, and this isn't for me as I'm not old enough to be on any dating sites, but if bisexual is written in your bio, you get messages from people asking your 'services' to spice up their marriage. I mean… No?

And that is why I have never used, and will never use, dating sites.
Something that really annoys me is when people think that sex and gender are the same thing…

My boyfriend still doesn't completely understand that sex and gender are different things— although he is getting his head around it for my sake. There are also a lot of younger people in my area who don't understand it

@amber_is_in_a_loop

No, I know that it's a thing, I just think it's such a shame that people either don't want or haven't gotten the chance to learn
