was that a typo? 'not saying I don't hate it' is double negatives, which means you do hate it. anyways, if that's not what you meant then you're all good, i don't see why allies wouldn't be fine here

Hey to be honest for a long time I thought I was “just an ally” and didn’t know myself well enough to understand I was Bi. As long you are supportive and keep this a safe space I’m personally excited to get to know you and be friends!

(I do actually! I’m working on some world building for a morally grey hero x villain enemies to lovers and I’m wanting to do it in a college setting, probably an ivy. Trying to establish the parameters of abilities and power and flesh out my villain, Wyatt, a bit more. Yk really get to know my character better? That’s actually why I’m back on NB. I put out a feeler role play and im waiting for someone to join so I can play around with his dialogue style)

Anyone mind if I rant?

I'm just so freaking tired of being treated like I'm not "that" bi because I'm in a straight presenting relationship with a cis man. I know i'm new to the community, I only came out about a year ago… but when I was dating a girl I was never treated like my sexuality was "lesser." Now that I'm dating a guy, i'm accused of just wanting to shock people when I say I'm bi, or being a poser, or being told i'm not "that" bi. Being bisexual literally means I'm attracted to BOTH women AND men. But yet I'm not allowed to love a man? I'm not my sexuality anymore because i'm dating a cis man?? What???? How does that make sense. I told some friends that I'm dating him and was actually heckled for it… like I had to prove I'm bi??????? I was like no, I've dated women… but like i'd still be bi even if I'd never dated a woman! so tell me why I have to "prove it". It hurts that people in my own newfound community say I don't fit just because of who I've chosen as my partner.
