I think you should be able to label yourself however you want. If you want to say you're poly, then you're poly. You have the power to label yourself how you want to be labeled.

Yeah… I personally feel more comfortable calling myself poly/pan. Calling myself bi just kinda doesn't feel right to me. I don't mean to cause offense and if someone wants me to refer to them as bi then I will, it's just I feel uncomfortable labeling myself with that term.

Look, I feel more comfortable calling myself polysexual rather than bisexual.
I honestly don't care that's it biphobic just let me be me. -__-
After all, word's meanings change constantly. May I remind you of the term "gay" which used to be mean "happy"? Sadly, change is constant. I apologize if I'm offensive.
