I have hair
And it's a pixie
But it's getting long so I'm cutting it this weekend
Soooooo
I have two options
Either get this with some highlights
or shave my head, which I've been wanting to do

I think you should get that haircut
If you do that, you could still shave your head later if you decide you hate it
But if you skip straight to shaving your head and decide you hate it and want the other then you're screwed

would a hairdresser be salty if I made them do this to me, then if I didn't like it make them immediately shave my head lmao?
I don't think so
I once got a medium length haircut and halfway through decided wait no, bob cut and they were completely cool with it
however it really depends
maybe bring a bit extra cash just in case

Decide if you want the pixie or to shave it before getting the highlights though, otherwise that's a lot of unnecessary work (and a waste of products). I wouldn't consider a shave something you'd need to pay extra for necessarily (it's not like suddenly deciding you want it dyed, or want them to do some sort of elaborate braid or curl) but I'd still bring some cash just in case.
