Marching band is super hard. Everyone, everyone has hated it at some point (if you haven't, you're not doing it right). But you push through it and get stronger and make friends and have lots of fun. It's a really great experience, and you should definitely do it.

Yeah well I never hated it, I mildly disliked it. Being a weak stick I’m usually the one to faint or be weaker then an actual stick after every parade, but when I don’t faint, I feel like I succeeded at something and it makes me happy for myself.
Marching band has basically become my home away from home because it's kind of like a family. There are times where we hate the sport and we feel like quitting but we always have everyone else in the band to pick us up. I also have incredibly fond memories of competitions, football games, and even normal practices because the people are great and the music sounds beautiful. Heck, we've even created a quote book of memes we've created so it's pretty much the best class I've ever taken.
Don't get me wrong, I love band. Band is literally my life, I love every one so so much, well that is except for one person, possibly the most important person in band. Our Director. He is literal trash treats us like trash and doesn't know what he's doing.

My band director (also Emi’s) is sooooo nice! She cares about everyone, and even though she can be serious, she only wants to see us grow!

When I was in elementary school, I was deciding to not do band in high school because of my last band teacher. She was great don't get me wrong but my high school director made band my life. He showed me how important it is for me to have music in my life. Band is literally my forever home.
