Ooh! For themes, it's best not to have a certain theme or people will have the same idea and tensions will rise. Simply put it at elegant or a dress code
I’m just thinking more along the lines of color scheme or something general like the season, maybe if we sort of coincide with a holiday, it could be themed that, so yeah, nothing too constricting.
Just so we can pull the decorations and invites and items like that together and not have everything clash like a high school homecoming

I say either fall or winter, because no one wants to be hot and sweaty in ball gowns and tuxes or other formalwear.
