It makes me cringe. There's nothing wrong with liking the show, it's just when people start "claiming" the characters, or only liking the show because one character. Stuff like that personally annoys me

Yeah, I agree. Especially in a show like MHA, where the writers specifically try to make sure every character gets a somewhat decent amount of screen time.

All the characters are amazing and deserve love

accurate. the nice thing about MHA is that we get a lot of side characters that still get screen time, like shinso, mic, hawks, etc
