I feel that here is a good place to post this-
I… am going to have to take a hiatus from Notebook, yet again. Well, obviously this means rps. But this one will be slightly different from the last one. It is going to be me taking a break from rps. With the toll that both quarantine and online school is taking on my mental health, I need to step back from them. As much as I absolutely love doing them, I am finding that my creativity and my mental health are at an all-time low. I'm dipping into depressive episodes much more frequently, and this- I just can't be stressed about replying to rps anymore. However, there is indeed one exception. One of the group rps I'm in, 'It's always raining in September,' I will be continuing, since there are so many people in it. But this will greatly lessen my workload on Notebook, seeing as it's only going to be one I'm working with. I apologise for any inconveniences, but it's for the better of my health, both physically and mentally.

The basic plot summary is that our characters are part of a sort-of-secret science society funded mostly by the (largely aristocratic) government. However, certain members have made enemies, done some dangerous and dubiously ethical experiments, and overall been getting too much attention, so their funding is at risk. Also there's a mysterious murderer that's apparently able to take knowledge from someone's mind. They could even make a person forget how to breathe. I'm sure they won't be a problem.
Our characters are basically characters from modern classics like Frankenstein, Sherlock Holmes, The Time Machine, and so on. Outcasts from society that are crazy enough to break past the boundaries of science are gathered together and make a sort of home in this mysterious house for the damned, and well. It doesn't hurt to add a little found family trope to the mix does it? (Obviously not found family is the blood in my veins and the air in my lungs I will die before giving up this trope-)
