Phone calls never get easier 😔
Appointments, work calls, I don't care what kind of phone calls. All the worst.
I worked a job that was about 80% phone calls for around 7 months a few years ago. Awful, terrible, never got used to it.
Even worse is scheduling an appointment I'm not even sure I can keep bc who knows if I can call out of work?
ew i did that too and i feel you. also damn i hate trying to take time off of work (tho most of my jobs have been minimum-wage since i'm still in the midst of getting my degree)

Except when it comes to entitled customers, but that's with any job.
It really depends on the shop, but I make good tips where I work now, so technically I make more than minimum wage.
I've worked for a bad coffee shop and a good one now, and honestly? I like the whole coffee making process and I'm knowledgeable about the products I sell, so that part is fun enough that it's possible to overlook some of the bad stuff.
I can't really deal with a full time job at the moment, so it's fulfilling some of my monetary needs while I finish school. It's really personal preference, but I couldn't work retail, and working with food beyond baked goods really grosses me out. It was a more natural fit than working at a restaurant or store.
that's valid. retail sucks and i would not recommend it at all. i've never worked food service but i've heard it also sucks.
