Ya I know what you mean. I don't have cbs all access so I haven't been able to see discovery, but I have heard mixed reviews. But Spock is awesome I love my boi so much

that one episode where the guy melts everything with his eyes made me so mad because he was lowkey better than spock and no one is better than spock

Ikr. But one thing I do appreciate about Star Trek is that the main characters aren't op. I think that then when they win at something it means more, and it's easier to connect with them.

Yeah, that's true. That one episode where they all get teleported off of the ship and these aliens try to seduce them into staying at their world and eventually they cave. Looking back on it I'm glad they didn't win, it was good character development.

I kind of feel like Star Trek is way under-appreciated. Like it's this awesome fandom that is sort of half in the shadows all the time. Even though it's big, people don't really get into it as much.
