also i trimmed up my strawberry plants today! we transplanted them a week ago because the frost was over and they needed moved somewhere safe. now the berries will be save from slugs and the plants themselves safe from my dog, who likes to dig them up and lay in them for no particular reason. they're so happy where they are now. like, a week after transplanting and they've got hella blooms already. this is not a gardening chat but playing with my plants makes me feel connected to the earth and my craft

i haven't cleansed my room in awhile and i literally feel the negativity radiating from it. i need to do that and cleanse my bathroom as well, the negativity and just tired vibes are overwhelming, i need to fix it.

My friend gave me good luck spell :D
It's a box spell, with a beautiful sigil inside, along with herbs and other stuff. I've never gotten a spell from anyone and I was very giddy. I've also never seen anyone else's sigils before, and it's just mesmerizing seeing their's, a personal thing charged with meaning just for me :) 11/10, very cool
I wanna make the same thing for them, but I've never attempted a spell like that before so I'll have to research/think about what to do for them.

My energy was so off yesterday and I have no idea what was happening but I did a lot of grounding and cleansed my room a ton so that was fun /gen
Been waffling back and forth about doing a protection spell for my girlfriend because my gut says she needs it but I can't work with my family in the house and I don't want it to somehow backfire did one for myself on beltane while my family was out and it took them so long to get back that I started thinking I accidentally killed them 0/10 bad experience

I have an odd question? Are electric candles okay to use for like, witchy stuff, or is that disrespectful? Just wondering because I don't have a good candle to put on my altar but my electric candle fits perfectly in the space I have. The internet is really not helpful about using electric candles lmao

Also I've been doing a lot of research on candle magic in general and it feels really perfect for me? I'm already into candles and make my own so there's already that good energy in it, so I think that's where I'm going to focus a lot of my craft

I've finally started to fix my candles so they burn down right. One of them is almost completely fixed and the other is getting there. It was really bad a few days ago

Also, my candle flames are being strange. One of them is completely calm while the other is moving quite violently— they’re in the same place on my altar.

Dude on a similar note my candles just…won't light. They ain't even on my altar bc there's flammable stuff above my altar rn so I can't put real candles on it, but none of my candles will light. Except last night, when I audibly said "yo leave my fucking candles alone" and then it burned fine?? And I'm 👀

But yeah, if they're for different entities maybe that's why? Or are they spell candles? In which case are they different spells or the same?

The unmoving one, which is white and soya, is for Aphrodite.
The violent one, which is pink and smells like flowers, is for Eos.
I only light these candles at night, so I don’t know whether it’s to do with the time of day that I’m lighting the pink one, but it’s only this one candle that it happens to…

Could it have something specific to do with Eos? Has anything weird been going on with them lately (in as much as it would have any bearing on you?) keep in mind I am both a baby witch and I don't work with deities so anything I know is second hand and not from my own experience

Mine are technically lighting, just with significantly more difficulty than usual the past few days. Could be because my lighter is from the dollar store though

It's not my lighter, I know that much. It's just weird, because if I say "hey stop putting out my candles" or something along those lines, they stop?? Going out?? Which is weird because now I'm like "fuck is there some sort of spirit in here or something??" Or maybe I'm just paranoid and reading into it, idk, I gotta do research

Is this about mine? Because if so, yeahhh it is. I'm trying to figure out how to cleanse and ward my room without incense or burning anything. Or salt/anything too special, because my parents would flip the fuck out if I burned incense lmao
