Favorite murder{er} and/or paranormal case?

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Probably the murder of Ken McElroy, not because of the case itself (although it is an interesting one) but because my family’s actually very very loosely connected to it and that’s just really fascinating to me
My grandma told me facts about him that I couldn’t even find on the internet
He actually threatened multiple other people than just the guys mentioned on his wiki page, including the doctor my great grandma worked for
And also, his truck he was murdered in?
It was a Chevy.

Just gonna follow this chat. Seems pretty interesting.
Also, hello.

@maddie-the-unknown

oooo anyone seen twin peaks?
that one's pretty good.
one of the most notable characters from the show is probably bob but just in case no-one has seen it, i'm not even going to mention any spoilers

The Black Dahlia case has always been kinda interesting to me. But I find I'm usually more interested in weird, unexplainable deaths like Dyatlov Pass and Elisa Lam.

Interesting! We should discuss Gloria Ramirez.

Cold Case Files is a fun watch

@Starfast group

^I started watching that one a couple days ago. It was pretty interesting.

And as far as podcasts go, My Favourite Murder is a great one.

It mostly revolves around a guy Agent Cooper who is investigating the death of some girl named Laura Palmer. I'm bad at explaining things, so if that doesn't make sense, try googling it.

For real though, the talent that song required
I mean, backwards it's the real letter Fish wrote
and the ordinary way, it's just a creepy af story of what actually happened {though it's not all accurate}
Like, respect tbh

Anyone have any theories? About anything?

group
@Toxic_Persephone group

My theory Jack the Ripper was a butcher (or something of the sort) and maybe the reason he went after prostitute women was because in Germany there was a satanic movement that turned women’s uteruses into candles and burned them at their rituals as some sacred passage or rite.

Sooooo maybe he sold the organs he collected??? Or maybe not?

Just a theory that’s probably not true but fun to think about.

(Imma just appear out of nowhere…)
I mean, Jack the Ripper wise, I do agree there's a good change of him being a butcher but also the clasic doctor theory. As other victorian era related murders, there's the one of Burke and Hare, is interesting how they got away with killing people and selling their bodies until of course, they were cought

group
@Toxic_Persephone group

(haha you good you good)

I freaking love Burke and Hare stories. It's so interesting! Like the guy they sold the bodies too didn't seem to even care where they came from!!!
