It was a pretty odd sight. Cold night, cold as all hell and then some, and it wasn't getting warmer anytime soon. The road that winded and weaved its way through the dense forest, lit up occasionally by a streetlights that glowed dim, bored-looking yellows that illuminated an area of 6 feet around the pole and nothing else. It was isolated, it was dark, and it was sketchy, yet Runner walked casually on the right shoulder of the asphalt, following the solid white line that set the firm boundaries on the road.

Backstory: Hailing from a planet of similar origin of our destination, Nodhis, a war-torn planet with the main difference being it still has inhabitants left. Enki was a teen-young adult when the war arrived to her planet, and she spent much of her time trying to get off of Nodhis. She also did some fighting, though stayed off of the frontlines.
Some may call her cowardly for fleeing her planet, but she thinks of it as a matter of survival. While the war has left Nodhis, its effects have not. Enki still has yet to return to the planet, if she ever does.
When she left Nodhis, she soon sought apprenticeship under a mechanic, and learned much about the piloting and building of these ships. She also learned plenty on AI. When she was done, she departed from that planet and took to her own wings, making all sorts of gadgets and helping repair ships. She also worked as a biologist for a while.
Eventually, her abilities were noted, and she was recruited for the job of going to Eria.

A rat's lungs are designed with the function of both itself and the heart in mind. The lungs have multiple lobes on each side. One side has three, and the opposite side has two.
