Hello! I'm kinda in the middle of poetry and song writing!

Cool! What sort of stuff do you write?

Well, I just wrote a poem based off another poem called "The Masks We Wear" and I think it turned out pretty good.

Awesome. Could I see it maybe?

I was called into the office at my school two years ago because I kept writing dark and twisted poems in AP English and they legit scared my teacher so much that she asked the administrators to talk to me.
They asked me to write about happier things and I was fucking livid. Like, I may not experience parental abuse or dealt with a psychopath but that doesn't mean other people haven't and this shit needs to be talked about more.

In the end, I did end up toning it down a bit as to not frighten my teacher as much but I never stopped writing the poems I liked.

I compiled a list of those poems, I just need to find them…

Hello peeps! I write poetry based off of song lyrics a lot, or just sad stuff in general. The thing that I like about poetry is that it gets so deep no matter what you're writing about. It's really easy to portray any emotion with poetry, mostly because poetry doesn't have to make sense.

I write random poems about random things at random points in time

yep, i don't do it much and when i do its a bit random

I write my poems based on how I feel at the moment.

I am also a poet! I either write super short poems or several stanzas and there's no in between for some reason.

They're mostly about dreams I have.
