The heck is it with grandma?!
Amazing she never goes away

Yesterday she just showed up
Petting that darn pineapple

Pineapple, Pineapple
Everywhere there are pineapples!

So many pineapples, singing pineapples
Stop. Stop right there. Singing pineapples?

Singing pineapples, Pineapples under the sea
Anywhere you set your imagination for them to be!

Everywhere there are singing pineapples
Stop, STOP, STOP RIGHT THERE

Everybody clap your hands!
Swing your partner, there she goes!

(I'm procrastinating from my homework, I don't know where this is going anymore!)

Starfish in the sea
Anaphylactic shock!

Kleenex is for an untimely demise
Eggs are for the climax

Xenophobia keeps him
from love he does not deserve

Except those wedding rings
Soak in the bathtub

What? I'm sorry, that made no sense.

Babies must come from SOMEwhere
Everyone says from soaked wedding rings

Sometimes you just need to let it go
Oh my god where did we go wrong

Gone are the days of wishing for blessings
Soon will the days arrive when they come true

But soon again you’ll be gone
Washed away in my tears of blue

Everyday I take a moment
Thinking, sitting her, missing you

I sob and sob until I can’t no more
still stroking the pineapple dinosaur

Remember the days when we thought he was real
Lies that are burdened up on us now that we're old

Desperate for our old days of youth

@snowflake_castiel, do you know the rules for this poem? You're supposed to start each line with the letter the previous line ended with. (Wow okay I sound really harsh and hateful there. How do I make this sound not harsh and hateful? I swear it's not meant to be harsh and hateful!)

Time ticks away on the clock on the wall
Laughing, mocking as I watch it go by

How could they be so rude?
What happened to respect

Too many times I fall to their hate

Grandma laughs and strokes her pineapple
