I always feel like im a terrible person whenever im around my friends cause i feel so happy all the time and i like have barely anything to be sad about but my friend is having a heart operation during halloween, my other friend is selfharming and bingeing and purging and my other friend is stuck not being able to come out to her close minded family and i always feel terrible for being happy with my life and i feel like im not normal like im not a normal teenager like i see the problem in bingeing and purging and i have never acted on a bad thought and i have good grades and do theatre and havent dated and im just happy but then i see my friends and feel bad about being happy so i help them then im sad cause they have a shitload of problems but then something awesome happens and im happy again WHY ARE ONLY AWESOME THINGS HAPPENING
^^tbh I feel the same way. I have multiple friends who were/are suicidal or have so many problems going on that they cry themselves to sleep at night. Then there’s me. The just call me their sunshine because I’m always happy. I guess I always just shrug off problems. But I’ve learned to expect that. Right now my job is to help them through their problems so I’m the future they will do the same for me.

So today we had to partner up in class and my friend who I’m always partners with gave me the look so I knew we would be partners then her sister wanted to be partners with her so she didn’t know who to go with. During this time the guy I think I have a crush on was arguing about who he was going to be partners with. Then all the sudden he gave up and turned around and claimed me as his partner. I was taken by surprise and it made me happy.
