Technoblade was farming when he met and talked to a fae for the first time. It was harvest season and he had just finished pulling up all his potatoes and was in the process of replanting them.

He had gotten through about half his main field when he heard the music. It was a delicate, lilting tune.

Techno closed his eyes for a moment, taking in the music. It was a welcome break from the grueling task of planting. If he was of weaker will, he would’ve stood up and danced. Instead, he stood up, grabbed his basket of potatoes, and called it a day.

He was not planning on an interaction with the good neighbors today, thank you very much. He had heard tales of his own neighbors being stolen away, it’s probably what happened to the manor’s previous occupants.

You see, Technoblade lived in an abandoned manor and the surrounding town and fields. He had found it a few years back while on the run and had decided to fix up the place a little bit and live there.

You could say it was his pet project of sorts. He was trying to get the entire place fixed up. For what? He had no clue. He lived there by himself with no one else but the forest creatures.
