It does that. But there is another chat that was called the ignore thread that was like 25,000 messages and it lagged the whole site because it go too big. The website lags a little bit when threads become too big, or they grow too quickly. It’s a lot to process for one website to do, especially if it has to constantly add in and reload to a thread that has over 23,000 messages. This thread should post things quicker.

Yeah, it was also the reason we had to move on from the first chicken chat. Once things get past the 900 pages mark it just keeps going downhill.

Idk if you remember the username thing, but usernames used to have unlimited characters so people would try to make the biggest username possible and that absolutely destroyed the site. To the point where if someone with a giant username posted, it would take the site down for hours. I can’t remember if it was right before you joined or right after. It was close though.
