Honestly the fact that everybody thinks Romeo and Juliet is some tragic love story is so funny to me, like my boy Shakespeare would be so mad, I mean he would be cackling at the fact that his plays are considered high literature, but also like It ain't a love story that's the whole point.
Sorry we're going over theater and film in my humanities class.

it's a perfect criticism on how dumb "young love" can be in a wonderfully morbid and overly dramatic way, which is a sense of humor a lot of older teachers just don't have. Also I learned the other day that shakespeare was more likely recited in an "american" english because it's closer to his era old english than current british english. Dunno how true it is but it would make my mean old language teacher mad about it so i'll believe it
Also Also, Hamilton is written like a Greek tragedy, like that's the play structure, and I am currently kicking myself for not realizing this sooner I am an Idiot.
I have dyed two girls’ hair bc they had an emotional breakdown today and I’m like you really get the Alaskan who knows absolutely nothing about hair dye huh?
