You know, it's raining here. And it would be so much more enjoyable. If pain didn't exist.
I can kinda relate because I have fractured my wrist and sprained my ankle; always a bit uncomfortable when the air pressure changes and weather shifts.
For me it's just pains like in my legs and abdomen. Very painful. Probably my fault though.
I have this recurring muscle issue in my calf. Some times If I've done lots of stuff during the day the muscle likes to cramp up super tight and just stay like that. It really hurts. It's doing it right now but I can't think of any thing I did to day where I would have used it a bunch. All well, to the foam roller! The solver of most muscle problems in this world.
I just realized something. I had to get some of my hair buzzed off thanks to the cut I gave myself and when I asked my dad if he'd ever give me an undercut he said "Maybe someday," and because it's late I was thinking about annoying him into giving me an undercut tomorrow but then I remembered that I'm the only person in my family who is ever asked if they might be gay. So now I'm thinking he didn't just say that because he'd be willing to give anybody an undercut.

Might also be growing pains (which are quite real, btw). When I went through that particular part of life my leg would randomly lock up and I'd have to slowly bend/unbend it to get it to stop.
Growing pains suck.

So, what conditions do y'all have to have to actually freaking sleep?
Me? I have to have close to absolutely quiet, have 3 thin pillows under my head, something to keep me warm and comfortable (comforter + electric blanket during fall- spring, comforter is a maybe during late spring-summer/sheet), and yet another pillow to place between my legs since I sleep on my sideโฆ. I get great sleep when its raining/storming outside, to the sound of fire, and crickets and grasshoppers (has to be natural, not that phoney crap that most white-noise machines have)!
I've ought to have a thicker pillow under my head (memory foam but not one of the tough ones), a body pillow, and three blankets. (All regardless of the temperature.) In terms of more sensory things, I like to have a fan running with music playing at a low volume but the sound of natural rain does help me sleep. I always have some sort of light on for if I wake up in the middle of the night.
And, as something optional, I like to have my cat in my room because I know she'll also be looking to sleep.

Yeah, mother dearest was not impressed but now sheโs fucked off to work while Iโm left here feeling shit because 1) I slept and 2) I coughed my lungs up at 4am and it still hurts.

Ehh donโt be sorry, not like it can be helped. I just wish it didnโt make my entire body uncomfortable. Parents have said nothing about it so thatโs great and I canโt get ahold of my doctor. Guess Iโm riding this one out.
And i wanna go back to sleep but i can't, so here we are
ahahah my parents do the same thing it sucks
