R.I.P. Stan Lee. His brilliance will live on. I don't know about you guys, but hearing the news made me remember all the moments I spent in the theatre watching his concepts and Saturdays with my dad looking for his comics. I don't think the world will ever be the same. Sad to see him go but so happy for the life that he lived.

I can't believe he's gone. I'm glad he'll be remembered though, and that there's threads like these to do so. I love going to see the latest Marvel movies with his characters and finding footage of him sharing his journey through interviews. I'm happy to have been around while he was alive and sad to see him go, no other generation will get to see his ever growing brilliance in the making. I saw a post about Stan Lee never dying because you only really die when people forget your name, I believe that to be true and that his memory will be passed on forever for the lovable characters he's created and the smile he put on faces whenever he was seen. Rest in peace Stan Lee.

Well, we all know that no one in comics stays dead forever…

@thehobbit

Personally, its a really sad and strange thought to think that this man who almost seemed immortal in my mind, like he was never going to and even like he couldn't die.
there's been so many people's lives who've been changed through that man's work. SO so many, even me. Marvel movies helped me find friends, helped me connect, which has helped me recover from some of the darkest times in my life and that's not something you can replace with CGI.

Dude my friend nonchalantly told me this at supper and I almost spit out my drink. It hit me pretty hard.
