Basically, these past few days haven’t been great, my computer might be broken meaning months and months of progress might be lost forever, and my favorite pajamas died a painful death at the hands of my siblings. One thing that always makes me happy though is watching people talk about the things they love, whether it’s a person you care about, your biggest fandom, a precious OTP, a hobby you enjoy, part of the story you’re working on, your cat, anything. So please, talk about these things. Introduce me to your fandoms. Show off photos of your pets. Talk about whatever makes you happy.

Update on the computer issue: My brother bought an external hard drive (whatever that is) for my computer so apparently, if it breaks I won’t have to lose anything. I’m so happy…

Aaaaand the happiness is gone. The hard drive is safe, so are my computer documents, and my computer itself hasn't broken yet, but I've been hit with another sadness wave and need you all to spew happiness to make up for the lack of happy in this bean.

it snowed today!

You asked for things, I give you things.
Whenever I watch a show or read a book and I see my favorite character, even in just the background I'll be like "THERE'S MY BOI!!! LOOK AT THEIR CUTE LITTLE FACE OH MY GOD!" and I do this literally every time. Another thing that makes me happy is my girlfriend, and now I get to gush about her because you asked for it and yes this will be very cheesy. So over the past few weeks, it's been too snowy to go to school, and we haven't had the chance to see each other. But today I saw her for the first time in what feels like forever and she gave me a really big hug and I didn't realize 'til a bit after she had walked away because she had work to do that when I was around her I barely thought at all, I was just basking in being with her. And that makes me happy. And her little habits, or her incredibly loud laugh, they just make me smile and make me feel so much luckier that I'm with her, and she likes me as much as I like her, as impossible as it seems to me.

My partner makes me really happy. I love them a lot. I love every little thing they do, from the way they laugh to the way they stop me from making bad decisions. Music makes me happy, especially punk and emo bands. Space makes me really happy. I like coffee. My science team is rad. I love my friends. I like to play guitar and bass and ukulele. Aside from my family life, I'm really happy.

I just call my cat Derpy, he does have a name but I don't use it.

I haven't actually called my cat "Gibbs" since we adopted her.
