Well there are ways to make sure you lucid dream I think but there's a risk of sleep paralysis and I don't know if I want to risk that so I've never tried

it's actually not that bad

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Y'all I want to learn how lucid dreaming works. Cause if I could control my dreams you better bet that I'd have all my favorite book characters in it and we'd fight some wicked evil creatures. I'd be great.

That’s the reason I keep my little “dream journal”, I read somewhere that by writing my dreams down I can eventually learn to recognize patterns in them until I learn how to tell when I’m asleep and control my dreams. It’s just a theory on the internet but I’m willing to try it

Someone acknowledge my dream asdfghjkl

Okay so there’s this kid at my school who is really weird and predatory and no one likes him. I had a wack fever dream that he was a serial killer, but just any regular serial killer, nonononono, he would kill someone, Mabel the corpse, then dismantle it, reassembling it a sort of 10 ft tall Picasso looking thing, then Frankensteined it, and sent it after me so I went to a friend of mine and told her that he was a serial killer, but he was standing right there so he sits down next to us and goes, “I just want you to know: it’s for an audition.”

All I can think after reading it is that it is incredibly disturbing.

I have little to no weird dreams. Almost all of my dreams involve death in some form or idea, and they’re usually pretty serious. I do remember a weird dream from a few years ago.

I think my entire class was flying over the ocean in a giant umbrella. There was a storm and the umbrella crashed on a beach, so we walked to this big building, that had big versions of every object in it. I don’t remember what happened after that but I think it was a hotel for giants and I had to get onto a desk to steal some keys so we could escape, and I had to avoid the sleeping giant.

Then there was that one where there was a volcano that erupted pink lava.

That sounds awesome!

(Alright, here’s the copy/pasted entry from last night, I read through it and geez I don’t remember half this stuff happening… What’s wrong with my mind?)

We had gotten this magazine for kids but it slowly turned creepy, there were these bugs on our window, then you turn the page and there’s a creepy spider with an Egyptian mummy. You turn the page and the spider starts talking to you, and it tells you not to be afraid of him, as he holds a real human heart “to symbolize our friendship”. I put the magazine down and went swimming, only to see the temperature drop and one of those same spiders appear. I went home and looked at the magazine again… Now there was a bunny with the spider. The bunny was named Happy. Happy and the spider teamed up to farm c a r r o t s when the spider suddenly heard a voice. The mummy had appeared and was telling him to kill Happy. And the spider did… You could see the blood drip off the page when he did it. I was horrified, that night I went to bed and saw the spider again. When I looked at the magazine one last time, I intended to finish reading in hopes of learning something. But I turned the page, saw a picture of Happy’s gruesome, destroyed body printed in full color, and immediately started to regret it. I kept reading, and suddenly I heard the mummy whisper… “Kill her” and look at me. I was terrified of course, but the spider refused, took that human heart he had and put in on a shelf and then killed the mummy instead. The spider then came to life, asked me if I still believed in our friendship, and when I said no he started going crazy, destroying everything he could on the magazine, scaring away the bugs from my window, and making weird sounds. He eventually went back into the magazine, took his weapon, stood on that shelf and stabbed the heart repeatedly before stabbing himself, then telling me to look at what I’ve done. I was too terrified to keep reading so I ran out of the house, only to see dozens of that same spider. I managed to escape them and ended up joining a race thing to get my mind off it, but that still scared me. I ended up falling down a hole after finishing the race, and ended up in a video game. I don’t remember much about the game except it was supposed to teach you how to code, and I played it for a while until the screen started glitching, and that spider appeared again… And then I woke up

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Now that I think about it, I briefly remember the spider having multiple hearts from different creatures but saying the human heart is biggest and that’s why he wanted to be friends with me

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

That is actually quite interesting. Kinda scary. I see why you don't like spiders.

Okay so I had a dream where I was in War and Peace, and I was chilling with Sonya and then she hecking snapped and just straight up murdered the Kuragins and the Rostovs, then took off her dress to reveal the red clothes of Rose Red from Ghost Quartet, and we became a murder couple.
It was really weird.

Is War and Peace really good?

@Mindful_Bison

This one has become a favorite story of mine:
How my friend Henry became a furry:

I had a dream one night and it went like this: I had no body, I was kinda like a camera slowly traveling through a treehouse. I saw lots of things in this treehouse, like Legos, paper, pencils, that sort of thing. Then, as I kept going, I saw a cubby on the wall. In one of the cubbyholes was a folded up bright pink fursuit. Then, just beyond the fursuit, sitting cross-legged on the floor, was my friend Henry.

The next day I found Henry before class started and told him about the dream. I asked him if he was a furry, and he kinda laughed. He assured me that he wasn't (though I doubted him for humor's sake). Eventually, our conversation evolved into "if we can get 50 signatures, then Henry is legally a furry and must wear a fursuit to class."

We got our signatures by lunch.

It has become a fond memory of mine, and although Henry and I attend rival high schools now, I never fail to mention it to him every time I see him.
