Theory as to why Shuri is on the missing list:
So everyone thinks that Shuri is dead, right? Because she's on the missing list, and yet, she was with the Avengers in Wakanda, so they would have known if she had dusted, right? She can't just leave while they're with her.
But- BUT-
Thanos is smart enough to know that if the Avengers got over the chaos and reassembled, then they might be strong enough to beat him fully.
So he spreads seeds of chaos, just enough to keep the Avengers on their toes, but not too much to destroy the "balance" he has made.
And what better way to do that than to kill off the rest of the world's rulers?
Shuri hears of this plot and runs away to Oakland, disguising herself as a homeless civilian. One night, she decides to find a new sleeping place, and goes up on the roof so that she can see the stars.
Imagine her surprise when she finds a whole bunch of quantum related equipment, and one bug-sized hero stuck in the Quantum Realm up there.
You guys really didn't think that Scott just got out on his own, did you?
(not criticizing my boi scott… it's nearly impossible for anyone to get out without any help)
