Okay so this was way back when I was in middle school and my younger brother was in elementary school. A bit of context my bus stop to get off was right next to his school and that night was the chess tournament. Both of my parents were helping out so I stopped in ate the dinner they served grabbed the house keys and walked home. When I got there I tried to unlock the door, by the way I am fricking awful with keys, and it wouldn't work. So I pulled it out and then tried to put it back in the other slot. I unlocked it and tried to open the door only to remember that we never locked that lock. But when I attempted to pull it out it was stuck. So here I was this middle schooler locked out of my own house in late spring early summer. I was out there for a good five or so minutes literally just muttering the f bomb because my parents were busy and I was a dumb head. I eventually remembered I could try the back door and so I walked out there. Guess what, the screen door to the back porch wasn't locked, but the door inside was. Luckily my family isn't dumb and we keep this puzzle thing that holds a spare key. Problem was we had just changed the doors recently and Mr. spare puzzle key was the for the old door. So here I was on the back porch with a spare key that didn't work. My brain got a stupid idea and ran back out to the front to try it on that door. Turns out it worked I finally got inside, but the key wouldn't come out for me. So yeah I sat in the house for a bout an hour with two keys in my front door just utterly relieved I made it inside.

This lady walked by at one point and I was half tempted to ask to borrow her phone so I could call my parents. My lazy bum didn't wanting to walk back to school. XD
