You are never obligated to dress up to look pretty for others
Pretty is not the rent you pay to exist in the world as a woman/man.
Sometimes you need to remind yourself that you were the one who carried you through heartache. You are the one who sits with the cold body on the shower floor and picks it up. You are the one who feeds it, who clothes it, who tucks it into bed, and you should be proud of that. Having the strength to carry yourself when everyone around you is trying to put you down, that is the strongest thing in the universe. And you, the person whose sitting behind this screen, you are strong and you can do this. I believe in you.
