Okay, so about this time last year was when I realized I was demi. It was because of Ace Awareness week stuff which I was looking at because I was curious and also support my ace friends wholeheartedly, so I wanted to understand asexuality better. And now I'm realizing that while I've had crushes (a total of 5 in my lifetime), they were all either 1. close friends or 2. people I merely found aesthetically attractive and didn't want anything from. So it may not seem like much, but it makes me feel more valid in my identity. Honestly most of the time when people start talking about hot guys, I have nothing to contribute. Never have. It feels weird, but it's good knowing there's a whole community of others out there who feel the same.

I can't tell whether I'm bi or pan. I thought I was bi but I don't really care about gender that much, I just think that girls are a little more attractive on the whole. Like, I like guys, I would date a guy, I even think quite a few of them are rather attractive (cough cough David Tennant) but I just find the female form…. attractiverish. I dunno.
