There are two people with my deadname in some of my classes and I will either react to theirs or to both or to neither
Everyone calls me Xander. Everybody. I'm so lucky I can get a good name that I really like from my awful deadname.
Everyone sees it and goes "Oh. Do you go by Alex?" and everybody who knows me just laughs and we go "nO it's XANDER" and nobody else has ever heard an Alexandrea go by Xander, so all my teachers learn my name fast :)
