Personally it's very stressful. I don't like people, and being stuck in a building chock full of people I don't know doesn't sound very pleasant. Plus I'll have to look nice the whole time, so I won't be in my comfortable friend clothes.
Not to mention I'm a full-time college student, and I really really really don't want to take precious time away from my studies. Especially now.
And the courthouse is in the Downtown area and I don't like it there. It's an area I don't know well and it puts me on edge being alone there.

Some states postpone your duty until you're out of school, for full time students.
Red if it helps the likelihood that you'll actually get picked to be on the jury is super low. At most it'll probably be only like two days out of your time
