So, Lex just texted me a bit and told me a bit of what is going on.
So, a few things can be triggers for them. Some of them are loud noises, yelling, and changing something small in their safe space. Two out of these three things happened this morning. Lex has a small little light that they often set in their bed and it's a bit of a tether for them I suppose. Lex's mom came into their room, screaming about how the light was going to cause a fire and burn the house down. Their mom took the light and slammed it into the ground, shattering it and yelling more at Lex. Lex didn't bring any food because they said they "didn't deserve it"

Hmm, that complicates things then. Is there any way that Lex can get away from their mom? Maybe a friend they can stay with for a while? Or would that make things worse? Tell them that they absolutely need to eat though, starving is a horrible thing.
