my only relationships were the ended non gay relationship which I regret ending literally two days after high school began, this relationship was started in 8th grade, then my relationship with Emi, and now I like someone else but Emi doesn’t really like them so now I’m in a spiral of confusion and gayness not wanting to ruin my relationship with Emi, but also wanting to be gay.

I say go be gay and have fun, but don't let your relationships get in the way of your friendships. That's a whole mess that you don't want to have to deal with, trust me.

Just think of it this way: confessing your feelings to somebody can be a test to see if they what kind of person they are. If they don't feel the same way and then don't want to be friends with you/don't treat you the same as they used to, they were never worth it in the first place and you dodged a bullet. If they don't change your friendship, they're still awesome, stay friends with them!
